Pentadeca Arginate (PDA)

Also known as PDA · BPC-157 arginate · Pentadecapeptide arginate salt

AnecdotalSubcutaneous injectionIntramuscular injectionNot FDA-approved for any indication; no separate approval or trial base. Available only through compounding/research channels and subject to the same regulatory scrutiny as BPC-157.

Pentadeca arginate is a pentadecapeptide sharing the BPC-157 amino-acid sequence but formulated as an arginate salt rather than the acetate salt. It is sold as a tissue-repair product with claimed effects on angiogenesis, collagen synthesis, and inflammation extrapolated from BPC-157 research. Importantly, PDA has not been studied as a distinct molecule in published peer-reviewed human or animal efficacy trials, and stability claims originate largely from vendor materials rather than the scientific literature.

Studied / used for

  • Sold for soft-tissue, tendon, and ligament healing, with claims extrapolated from BPC-157 research
  • Used in injury-recovery settings without distinct trial support
  • Associated with claimed angiogenic and anti-inflammatory effects not yet directly studied

Commonly reported side effects

  • Injection-site reactions
  • Minimal independent human safety data
  • Safety profile inferred from BPC-157 rather than direct study
Anecdotal. Limited formal evidence; reports are largely anecdotal. This reflects the strength of the research base, not effectiveness or a recommendation.
