Tesofensine is a small-molecule triple reuptake inhibitor that blocks the reuptake of noradrenaline, dopamine, and serotonin in the brain. This is thought to suppress appetite and increase satiety. Originally investigated for neurological conditions, it was later studied as a weight-management candidate and remains investigational.
